Portfolio Review concerns itself with the presentation of one’s work in the best possible manner to suit one’s photographic style.
Attendees should have enough material off which to create a portfolio.
Objective of the Course
Narrate, Edit and Market your work
During this 2 day-workshop, professional and amateur photographers and/or artists who use photography, will have the chance to present their work and be taught various editing methods and creation-development of their personal portfolio.
The seminar consists of two 4 hour-sessions during which, the tutor advises the participants on quality features of their work and following she directs them in preparing, editing and presenting specific photographic themes. At the same time there will be a participant briefing concerning their work commercial promotion, so that the seminar can operate as a means to promote their work in various photographic hubs (mass media, photo-agencies, festivals etc) both in Greece or abroad.
This specific seminar will be activated in a form of open presentation and it is addressed to people who have already produced or have a photo project in progress.
Nikandre Koukoulioti has been working as a photo director and producer in “Kyriakatiki ELeftherotypia” ‘s magazines. She has a long-lasting experience in magazines and photo editing in Greece as well as abroad. Also a founder-member of ART/IF/ACT team (www.art-if-act.com) that acts as an open, communication platform in order to inform and educate in photography and visual arts sectors. Collaborated with Magnum international photo agency for a number of years as a photo editor in production department and then as a manager for the agency’s cultural section. Has also taken part in several educational photo-programs, seminars and various other photographic events, such as: production manager for the photo exhibition “Periplous,12 Magnum Photographers in contemporary Greece” which was presented during the Olympic Games of Athens 2004, editor and manager of photo editing section for the official Olympic Games Editions “Athina 2004”, curator for the retrospective exhibition “Eikones mias Diadromis” which was celebrating their 20 years of presence in Greece, production manager and instructor for the Greek educational photographic program PANOPTIKON13X13 (panoptikon13x13.com) and several other exhibitions and photo-projects in Greece as well as internationally.
